Residential Site Manager

Are you an experienced and highly motivated individual looking for a rewarding role within a vibrant school community?

We are seeking a dedicated individual to confidently manage our beautiful school premises. Starting in September 2025, you will be responsible for ensuring our buildings, facilities, and grounds are maintained to a high standard, and remain safe and secure for everyone.

This is a full-time position (36 hours per week, Monday-Friday) offering a competitive salary on the NJC Scale SO1 (Points 21-25: £35,982 – £38,058). You'll also enjoy 28 days of annual leave, rising to 34 days after five years of service. A significant benefit of this role is the availability of on-site accommodation in a sought-after area.

What We're Looking For:
We are searching for someone who is:

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Proven in building maintenance, taking full responsibility for day-to-day upkeep and ongoing improvements.
• Knowledgeable in relevant Health and Safety legislation.
• Able to think on their feet to resolve emergencies and problems efficiently.
• Experienced in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry/decorating.
