Governors

At The Rosary Catholic Primary, our governors play a vital role in the leadership and management of our school. They are dedicated individuals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to ensure that our educational environment is both nurturing and effective. Our governors work collaboratively with staff to support the school's vision and uphold its values, ensuring that every child receives the best possible education.

We understand the importance of transparency in our governance. As such, we encourage parents to stay informed about our decision-making processes. Copies of our minutes from meetings are available upon request from the office. This initiative aims to foster an open dialogue between the governors and parents, ensuring that all voices are heard in our school community.

Foundation Governors are appointed by the diocese to represent the interests of the church.

LA Governor is appointed by the Local Authority.

Parent Governors are elected by parents of registered pupils at the school and must be parents at the time of election. They do not have to stand down if their child leaves the school, though they may do so if they wish.

Staff Governors are elected by and from the support staff of the school. If he/she leaves the school, he/she cannot remain on the Governing Body.
