10 children from year three competed in the biggest tennis festival in South England yesterday with 480 children attending the event. They played in pairs, competing against 4 other schools in a total of 19 rounds. They had a fantastic day and we are very proud of their success.
On Tuesday 12th June year 2 took part in a Mini Olympics competition between the school's four houses. They participated in 6 different events including hurdles, obstacle races and relay races. Everybody had a great time competing against one another. The final results were very close with Gabriel in first position (20 points) and Rafael coming in second place with 19 points. Well done year 2!
This week 8 children from year 5 and 6 entered the Quad Kids borough finals after winning first place in their previous competition. They all tried their best in every event and although the competition was challenging they did not give up. Well done!
